The world's first totally portable, fully alarmed personal safe. It is large enough to store a standard size laptop computer but weighs only 6 lb. (2.7kg). The design incorporates a hardened steel cable that can be looped around a fixed object anchoring it to a post or pillar, etc. If the cable or the key lock is attacked the 120 decibel alarm sounds. The lid on the safe is equipped with sensors that detect a forced entry that will also sound the alarm.
The PortaSafe is constructed of a tough outer casing with an inner steel chassis. A foldaway handle allows easy transport. The key locks the cable in position and sets the alarm. Its design makes it suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

External dimensions are: 15 inches by 13 inches by 9-1/2 inches as published by the factory.
The factory does not publish interior dimensions, however, we measured to give you our estimate of the usable interior space.
A diagonal slot has been designed into all four sides on the inside of this portable safe that allows a laptop to be placed in the slot. The slot itself is 1-7/16 inches wide by 3/8 inches deep and it is 12-7/8 inches long X 11-1/2 inches wide including the 3/8 inch slot depth.
The interior sides of the portable safe are tapered to the bottom and it is wider at the top than at the bottom. Dimensions excluding the laptop slot are 6-3/8 inches wide by 9-3/8 inches long X 11-5/8 inches high.
The interior of the top is 7 inches wide by 9-1/2 inches long.
