Safe-T-Plus is an internationally patented, state-of-the-art, Steering Control System. Safe-T-Plus incorporates both a Hydraulic Retardation System and a Mechanical Coil System, which are engineered to provide increased steering control and driver comfort, while reducing wear and tear on the entire steering system.

The self contained, double-acting hydraulic cylinder imposes a positive center on the steering system of a vehicle. "Positive Center" means that the wheels maintain straight ahead steering. Safe-T-Plus offers a range of models to fit vehicles 1/2 ton and larger, such as light pick-up trucks, ambulances, fire engines, busses, motorhomes, over-the-road tractor-trailers, ready-mix trucks and almost anything in between.

Safe-T-Plus Steering Control was developed in 1978 by a former truck driver named T.L. Sexton. The product underwent two years of testing, and was introduced commercially in 1981. Safe-T-Plus is manufactured in the U.S.A. by United Safety Apparatus, Inc. of Decatur, Georgia. E TIP, Inc. has represented Safe-T-Plus since 1982.

Safe-T-PlusSteering Control can be installed and road-tested in 60 to 90 minutes, without any special tools, drilling, or welding (the unit mounts safely between the axle/frame and tie rod). Safe-T-Plus is factory-sealed, maintenance-free, and fully warranted for two (2) years.

Designed for Class C Chevrolet, Dodge and Ford Chassis. This model also fits most pickup trucks, SUVs, 4x4's and vans.

Designed for P-30, P-32, P37 and P cut-away Chevrolet Chassis and most other smaller vehicles.

Fits trucks with minimal or light power steering as well as Class A Motor Coaches with Ford F-53 Chassis and Dodge M Chassis.
